Wakumi Aokawa

As a Honengame, Wakumi is able to breath underwater and swim very fast. She is also able to withdraw herself into her shell in protection if she is in her true form. Whenever she goes on land, Wakumi shapeshifts into a human form, which is a staple for several Yokai. However, she would instantly turn back into her true form whenever she gets wet. Moreover as a Yokai, Wakumi has superior strenght compared to that of an average human.

Also with being a Honengame, Wakumi possesses precognition abilities, being able to see into the near future via vision flashes. However, she has little-to-no control of this ability due to her relatively young age, with her flashes occuring totally randomly. One interesting advantage of these flashes, that if they occur, they can automatically snap Wakumi back to her senses, if her mind is clouded (such as under a state of euphoria or hypnosis). Her species is also known to live for a very long time, being estimated in thousands of years.

Wakumi can also erect up protective barriers in order to defend herself and/or her allies. She is able to manifest this by using her own Spiritual Power, these barriers are circular in shape and light green in color. However, she can only erect up one at the time, meaning that she still can be attacked from behind if her barrier is manifested in front of her. Due to being recently awakened this ability, she sometimes even tends to forget about it.

As a pharmacist, Wakumi has a wide knowledge of plants and herbs and knows which can be used for medicine and which can be used as a poison. She is also skilled in medicine making and thanks to this, Wakumi can be considered as a quite good medic herself. Despite this, she often tells her clients to see a professional after giving them advice.

As for combat skills, Wakumi is usually considered to be harmless, however, she is quite skilled in wielding her Japanese war fan. It is made out of mostly wood and laquered paper, but its outer cover and rim are made ouf of metal. This fan can be used for slicing, as a blunt weapon in its closed state, parrying enemy weapon strikes and even thrown as a boomerang. Due to her pacifism, she usually only uses it for self-defense.

- She does not have much offensive skill outside of her war fan.
- Due to being a water Yokai, she is elementally weak to lightning.
- Her barrier can break if the incoming attack is too powerful.
- Her inexperience in her barrier ability (she sometimes forgets about it)
